In early 2024, Heart+Voice premiered an original sacred oratorio called Converted Unto the Lord, which tells the story of Alma and the sons of Mosiah, who were miraculously converted to Jesus Christ, and who went on to convert thousands to His gospel.

The oratorio’s success was astounding. On our closing night alone, we packed hundreds of guests into a chapel to hear the brilliant soloists, stunning choir, passionate narrators, and incredible orchestra. But what moved the audience was not the talent—it was the message.

Upon encouragement from our audiences and the broader community, Heart+Voice is now preparing to spread the message of Converted Unto the Lord by creating a studio recording of this sacred oratorio. The recording took place at local studios in Provo, Utah, during April 2024, and the album will be released at the end of the summer.

The studio recording totaled a little over $5,000, and the mixing/mastering will require about the same amount. A select few patrons funded the studio recording, and now we're inviting the public to contribute to the other half. Heart+Voice is a 501(c)(3) registered public charity and all donations are tax deductible.

While Heart+Voice “tours” its shows to as many locations as possible during the performance season, the logistics of moving a large orchestra and choir preclude the hosting of live performances outside the Wasatch Front. This studio recording will allow thousands of listeners far outside of Heart+Voice’s primary market to experience the inspiring effects of Converted Unto the Lord.
